CHRISTINE AUFDERHAAR graduated from the "Conservatory Lugano" in classical piano performance (piano class of Nora Doallo, composition class of Paul Glass). Upon completion, she attended the Berklee College of Music and graduated in Film Scoring and Classical Composition in two years instead of the usual five years, receiving "summa cum laude".

SHORTLY AFTER, Christine Aufderhaar was chosen by the "Society of Composers and Lyricists" (which consists of members such as E. Bernstein, D. Raskin, Alan Silvestri i.e.) to participate in the internationally renowned "Mentorship Program", which opened up opportunities working in L.A. with leading composers such as Alf Clausen ("The Simpsons"), Dan Foliart ("7th Heaven"), Jay Chattaway ("Star Trek") and Steve Bramson ("J.A.G.").

APART FROM having frequented studios like Warner Brothers, Fox and Capitol, Christine was privileged to work with the renowned composer Lawrence Shragge.

CHRISTINE AUFDERHAAR was honored with the "Richard Levy Award" (Berklee College of Music) and numerous scholarships (Switzerland and USA). Her compositions have been performed in the USA as well as in Europe.



IN 2006 Christine Aufderhaar was one of 12 composers selected to participate in the international annual "ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop", where she conducted one of her compositions in a recording session at the Newman Scoring Stage of Fox Studios (Hollywood).

IN 2007 she was selected by the "Federation of Film & Audiovisual Composers of Europe" as "European Composer 2008 for Switzerland".

AT THE MOMENT Christine Aufderhaar is living in Berlin, where she writes and produces music for film and television. She is member of the "German Film Academy". From 2004 to 2008 she was Assistant Professor at the "Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen" (HFF Konrad Wolff) in Babelsberg in the film scoring department.

CHRISTINE AUFDERHAAR is fluent in German, English, Italian and French.
